The World Famous Oasis Restaurant

First time trying this place on a recommendation of a friend. Lovely place with a great atmosphere. It was fairly busy inside, which is usually a good sign for any restaurant. Had the shrimp po boy, and I've never had bigger shrimp on one before to the degree handling it was difficult but absolutely one of the best I've had as well. The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the chips and salsa, mostly the salsa as it was just chunks of tomatoes cut up, literally no sauce at all, it was good and flavorful however but not what I expected or wanted honestly, wouldn't get it again. The service was pretty good, our server was kind and personable but not super attentive and just longer than reasonable wait times on checking on us or refilling our drinks with the rest of the people I was with. Though, by no means was it bad service. Also, the St Augustin Red Ale was delicious, and their own oasis beer was cheap and awesome. Next time im in, I'd definitely come back.

Food is so delicious Everytime my husband me comes there alot

We are from out of town was a recommended restaurant on the trolley tour but not on the tour. All entrees were more than generous was an issue with the oyster order in peperation came out when we were ready to go so they comped them and gave for us to take with. Everything was good would eat here again.

The waffles are really good and the service is a 10 all around.

The food and service were good. The prices were fair, and I would come back.
