Bistro 206 - St. Augustine

The owner comes off as quite arrogant. While the food is good, the smoke from the kitchen wafts into the dining area. On the positive side, the servers are very friendly. There are plenty of dining options in the area, and I would prefer to go elsewhere. As a local, this place would be very convenient for me, but I’d rather drive a bit further.

We had another enjoyable date night at Bistro 206, featuring the lovely vocals of Sarah. We ordered calamari, meatballs, cod over fettuccine, and chicken francese, and all the portions were quite generous. We can't wait to return!

The Italian food here is as good as what you'd find in New York, and the service is exceptional. Dave, the owner, is a wonderful host who makes everyone feel like part of the family.

The restaurant has shut down, and I can't say I'm surprised based on my experience. While I was waiting for a friend, I saw someone putting fresh food onto a trash cart to be taken to the kitchen, and I also spotted a dog in the kitchen during food preparation, which I find completely unacceptable. Rating: Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.
