Constructive criticism, if you're going to go into the japanese anime theme and all, why not play some k-pop or something for your music? Feel like it's popular enough in the west that it shouldn't be an issue. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I came to Sakura Izakaya for dinner a while ago. The service was nice and I really enjoyed their decor and lighting. In terms of food, I tried their Chicken Karaage, Pressed Salmon roll, Baked Scallop Roll, and House Roll. The chicken karaage was okay. The pressed salmon roll had a nice flavour but the ratio of fish to rice seemed a bit off to me. Also, the pepper in it was spicier than other places, though I didn’t mind that. The baked scallop roll was decent but it didn’t bring out the scallop. The house roll was good. Overall, some of the items are a bit too expensive for the quantity or quality but the atmosphere and other food can make it worth trying so I’d give it 8/10.
Tremendous beef udon dish. A fantastic sweet sauce mixed with juicy noodles and old school string style ground beef. The taste of the beef perfectly matched with the sauce and noodles. Our server over delivered in her role. I had no say in this dining experience, but am sure glad I was able to experience it. I strongly recommend. Service: Dine in
