Joey's Seafood Restaurants - St. Albert

Visited Joey's when I lived in St. Albert and have been only once. The batter on my fish came right off, fries were cold and my shrimp dish was disappointing. I may try one out in Spruce Grove or Edmonton, but this one for sure I will never go back to.

This was the worst fish and chips meal any restaurant could serve; in fact I could not even imagine it was possible to be this bad.

Was planning to order their 2 for 1 fish and chips... choked at the $3. for a beverage.... you can buy a 12 pk for $2.99. My dinning $$$ go further at other Joeys ... and great food. White Oakes.... here we come!

My family and I do "takeout friday" every week, and this was the first time we ordered from this particular Joeys location. The order was ready quickly and the fish was not very greasy at all. That is a hard thing to find when ordering fish and chips, since it is deep fried. I was impressed. Staff were very friendly. Would order from here again anytime.

Excellent fish, not greasy, good size portions, quick service and friendly staff. Even if you are not a regular wait staff remembers your previous orders. Impressive.
