Waterend Barn Restaurant - St Albans

Good eating and beautiful place, but nothing too special. many seats inside and outside. pretty fast service too, so it is not bad place to try.

Perfect for English breakfast (or American breakfast!) Copyy at a tight price. It belongs to the Whetherspoon chain, but it is not at all in a lambda franchisee, this old barn is classified as a historic monument.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. It was uncomfortably hot inside and I waited over 30 minutes to even get a drink. I will definitely not be returning.

I was denied breakfast once again for being late to the restaurant. The first time it happened, I was there with my son and I understood their decision. Today, I arrived at 11:58 and no one was taking orders. When the young lady finally arrived, she informed me that breakfast service had ended. I showed her my phone to prove that it was exactly 12:00 and explained that I had arrived earlier, but she didn't seem to care. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and a young man who seemed uninterested in my concerns arrived. When I turned my back, I could hear them laughing. It became clear that the staff did not value their customers, and their behavior was disrespectful. This experience left me feeling disappointed. Saint Albans, Herts, July 30th, 12:00pm.

My husband and myself popped into The Waterend barn today to celebrate Valentine’s Day before our meal out. I had a bag of salt and vinegar crisps too. I started to eat them and said to my husband these don’t taste right and have him one. He said they are stale they taste like the bag has been opened. I obviously then checked to find it had been nibbled at the bottom by I’m guessing a mouse. We took it to the barman who basically didn’t apologise just took them back not even offering a new bag, which I wouldn’t have wanted. We left our drinks and went to another pub. We will never ever walk through the door again. The place is disgusting. AVOID AVOID
