When I mentioned this to the staff, one member completely ignored me and the other claimed that the Brazilian bean used was only suitable for lattes and cappuccinos, not espresso. If you're looking for a true coffee experience, I would not recommend this place as they seem to be clueless about what they are serving and don't regularly check the grind of their coffee.
Nikora is conveniently located near Christopher Place, making it a great spot to grab coffee. The coffee itself is delicious, but the prices are quite high. It can be a bit of a shock to receive your drink in a tiny handmade cup when you choose to dine in. While the cafe has a cute and trendy vibe, I can't help but feel like I'm being overcharged.
I am a massive fan of Nkora in Mayfair so was very pleasantly surprised to see this place in St Albans. We came in for a coffee and sat outside on the bench. The coffee was excellent and the staff friendly.
The iced coffee was delicious, but the staff seemed a bit impersonal. I understand they may have been working all day, and I'm just purchasing a coffee, but a simple smile or thank you would have been appreciated. It can make a big difference.
Great relaxed atmosphere. Coffee extremely good and pastry was absolutely fabulous. Only draw back was cramped sitting area.
