Maria's - St Albans

The service and food at this restaurant are excellent. Along with the delicious cake (I believe Maria makes them all herself), there are some great affordable options. The frittatas and quiches served with a side salad are fantastic. The salads also stand out, offering a unique mix of flavors and textures compared to the basic lettuce, cucumber, and tomato salads that many places serve.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. It has a cozy atmosphere, and I enjoyed a cup of coffee in the sunny outdoor seating area. I also ordered a panini to go, which was delicious. I chose one with goat cheese, chutney, and roasted paprika. I highly recommend trying this place, as they also offer a variety of homemade cakes, including options for those who are gluten-free or vegan.
