Gelato Carina - Squamish

I just discovered this amazing gelato spot not long ago, but I'm sad to hear that the neighboring Zephyr Cafe will be taking over the location. It's always bittersweet to say goodbye, but I'm excited to see what the successful new neighbors will bring to the area.

Stopped in for an ice cream and ended up at their sidewalk cafe enjoying the view of the town. The food was good, the gelato was excellent and the owner is a nice guy.

Like in italy. very yummie! You get different flavors and the one we took were very good, high in quality! You have to go and get one if you are in squamish!

As per one reviewer below, the ice creams are good but the owners are cheap. They charge you $4.75 for a single scoop that looks like the kids' scoop you would get in other ice cream places in the Lower Mainland. I'm serious.I couldn't believe they give us such a small scoop and still expect you to give them a tip. It's a rip off, in my opinion.I really liked the cherry ice cream but I'm not going back. Perhaps they are just inconsistent with the scoop size and I was there at the wrong time, served by the wrong person. But based on previous reviews, I was not the only one.

Enjoy delicious gelato at an affordable price. There is a wide variety of flavors to choose from, and ample seating available both indoors and outdoors. The bathrooms are clean and the staff is friendly.
