We ate there twice.. in both times we had a bad experience especially with the waitress (the Turkish ones). They are nice to some people and very rude to others.. my wife plate was too spicy and we asked them nicely to change it or give us better options but they refused saying you already ate from it.. so how the heck we gonna know if it’s too spicy if she didn’t taste it.. she asked her if it’s too spicy while ordering and waitress answered No.. when we asked for a change in plate she said lemme ask the manager and went for 15 min then come again and said you have to order a new plate and pay for both.. she left us for another 10 min before she brought the menu.. we didn’t order anything.. my wife ate from my plate..my plate was meat and rice.. right after the meal. Our stomach started to hurt and still feeling bad after 1 day of eating their food..the first time we came they said we need a reservation which is okay because we didn’t know.. but the way they talked to us was really ruude.. made my wife pushing me to go to another place..It’s so bad a Halal restaurant give SOME of their customers this awful service..
This is the third meal here. I love the environment, the location, the friendly and fast service. I was not so crazy for eating the first two times, but one between the delivery of kebabs made me want to try it another. the Turkish drinks and the special brot got the prices again. I decided to get something that I hadn't tried before, what was soaking kebob. it was very edible, especially the grilled paprika and tomato and the crispy brot. the lens soup was also good. my friends didn't like the donator kebab. it was trying and tasteless until they looked sour from me borrowed and many salt and pepper to add the taste. the salat was good and it helped to compromise. my other friend couldn't eat the chicken cooked. she smelled it from a bit. they enjoyed the salat and the brot and did not complain. I tried to eat the juices from the Doggy bags later and yes, they were not boiled through and safely smelled. my other friend ate the rest of the donator kebab to house for dinner with hot sauce and mango salsa to compensate for the lack of taste and dryness. about all the food experience was pleasant due to the drinks, brot, suppe, salad environment and service, but that would unfortunately not be something we would come back.
Gotta love it. Kids running around. BYOB. Food was good. Maybe the Iskender was too pure a hit of tomato for me but overall very good.
Went for take out tonight. Last week we went to another Turkish restaurant and I wanted more. Well I got it! This was 10 times better and closer. It's my new favorite restaurant!
