Rise - Springfield

The ambiance is good for sure. Love all the well cared for plants, the music. In general a nice vibe. Like the location. The food is good quality. I had the Circle B ham eggs Benedict on sourdough. Really good although I wish it had been more like the owner photo. Instead it was skimpy with the homemade hollandaise, like really skimpy. Some people would say less is more but I 'm a more is more when it comes to good sauces. A generous amount of ham, which kinda made up for it. Nice dish-ware, good quality flatware and cloth napkins. All positives to me! Latte was just above lukewarm. Maybe I was supposed to say extra hot? Service was good. A friendly staff. I 'd come back for sure.

The food was absolutely wonderful. The avocado toast and french toast were delicious, however I felt most of the menu was a bit over-priced for a counter-service establishment. I 'm more than ok with a $45 tab for two people if I am being served at the table, but the prices seemed steep. Several employees seemed to be standing around even though almost every table was full. I also took note of the no-refill policy for coffee. Fresh-squeezed juice I understand, but a brunch establishment needs coffee refills.

Rise has great food, however, it is a bit pricey as they like to nickel and dime you todeath. You have to pay for any extras like butter/jam, syrup, etc. Overall it’s a good place to eat and we will be back. Just get ready to break out the wallet!

Great location, beautiful cafe. However, stingy. Ordered French toast and received 2 pieces of toast with no syrup. Asked for syrup, was provided half ounce and told that because it was grade A maple syrup if we wanted more they would be happy to charge for it and informed they already pay $8 for a dozen eggs. No refills on house coffee. No table service. Bizarre experience

This place is our go to for brunch if we can't decide on anything else. So many options for beverages, food, and desserts. The decor is very cute. And we had a group of about 15 people one time and the servers were wonderful about accommodating us. Will be back!
