Olive Garden Italian

I really enjoy dining at this restaurant as the food is consistently good. However, I have had issues with the service, especially during shift changes. It is frustrating to see servers who have just checked out lingering at tables that paying customers are waiting for. I have also noticed tables sitting empty and ready to be serviced for long periods of time. My father owned a restaurant for over 20 years and never had tables sitting without customers. Despite having plenty of staff, it seems like everyone is running around or standing idle. The priority should always be to attend to tables promptly, regardless of their size. Once we were finally seated, our waiter Jeb provided quick and efficient service.

On January 15th, 2024, we had lunch at 2 PM and were impressed by the awesome manager at this restaurant. He regularly stops by our table to ensure everything is running smoothly with the service, food, and overall experience. The chicken tortellini lasagna was as delicious as always and we also enjoyed the pasta e fagioli soup, salad, and breadsticks. The service was exceptional this time and we indulged in a scrumptious strawberry cheesecake for dessert. The food was a bit slow to arrive but it was worth the wait. We took advantage of the unlimited pasta deal, which offered a variety of tasty options. Overall, a great dining experience.

The food was lacking. I haven’t been to Olive Garden since October 2017 so returning in January 2024, my expectations were pre-pandemic I suppose. My family probably won’t return. I want to mention however, the staff gets 5 stars!! If give them more if I could. The staff was wonderful, timely, friendly, and so accommodating!! If we had to go somewhere just for the staff I would go back to the OG. I personally ordered the scampi, the noodles were mushy and they were all broken and fell off the fork. Highly disappointed with the shrimp scampi!

Love Olive Garden so much. Can't get enough of the chicken Alfredo... I think Janna was training today but she went out of her way to make sure our service was impeccable. Christine is a BOSS!!! Thank you Olive Garden.
