Olive Garden Italian - Springfield

Food was great, our server Theresa (Springfield, PA branch) is amazing! She's attentive and gives out suggestions. Food price but got you unlimited bread and the portion are HUGE. So thats a plus, you always can eat more later. Lol. We had calamari, Tour of Italy, chiken&shrimp carbonara. The food mostly comes with salad or soup as well. (we chose zoppa Toscana. Soooo good)

The location is ideal, the food was incredible, and the facility was clean, but the service is mediocre at best. The greeters were socializing amongst each other, so you almost feel like you are disturbing them when trying to serviced. My waiter was very distant and made me feel rushed every time she came to the table, even how she rapidly sprinkled cheese over my food within me confirming my desired amount. I would recommend this place IF they get better staff.

Messed up my daughter order. It says ALFREDO in big when you close it and the redness of the sauce doesn't bother you?! Pasta was overcooked as well.

The service and food were just okay. The bread was not warm. We had to send the flavored tea back, because it tasted like there was barely any of the Mango Strawberry flavor in it. I had to ask for the lemon for my water three times. It wasn't horrible, but it's not worthy of anything more than 3 stars. On a side note, I've ordered for pick up from this same Olive Garden and the food is always good. It just wasn't too good last night.

It's a great place to eat some Italian inspired food. Wait times are terrible on the weekends so do yourself a favor and plan accordingly. We've waited over an hour to be seated before. The staff is great for the most part although I don't feel they have enough for the amount of business they do get. We've never had a bad experience at this Olive Garden besides the wait times.
