Olive Garden - Springfield

Our server was incredibly friendly and extremely accommodating to all our requests.

My two daughters and six grandchildren went out for a meal after an evening of Christmas shopping, and everything was fantastic. I want to give a big shout-out to our waiter, Chris. He was attentive and on top of everything throughout our visit. I mentioned to my family in the car afterward that Chris should be working in a 5-star restaurant because he was truly excellent.

Overall, the experience was good, but it felt quite slow for a party of five. We waited 40 minutes to be seated and then another 45 minutes for our food, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. The food itself was decent, but it took 25 minutes just to receive our breadsticks and salad. On the plus side, our waitress was very pleasant. However, I did notice that the place could use a thorough cleaning, as there were quite a few cobwebs and dust around.

Great experience. had not been there for several year's. It was excellent food and service. Try it.
