Lindberg's Tavern - Springfield

This was my first time here although parking was a bit of a pain. I still enjoyed being there as I had meet up with some friends for lunch. The staff was great the food was good seemed to be a popular place to go especially for drinks. I would visit again and would recommend anyone else to even if it's just for drinks they had TV's and looked like a stage no really sure if they have live bands but still recommend a visit.

A group of us stopped here on the way to St. Louis. Service was great, food was phenomenal! I had a smash burger and it was made perfectly. Not sure what everyone else had, but everyone was very pleased with their selections. And the ambience and history of this place is fascinating! Will definitely stop in again if I venture through again.

Great food! I've loved everything I've ever ordered here! I highly recommend the Cashew Chicken Poutine The bands are fantastic. And it's in one of the historic old buildings still standing in Springfield.

Update: It's still fantastic! I've traveled all over the world, sampling bar food from various regions, and I have yet to find anything better than here. This week, they offered an Irish egg roll as a special, and it was incredible! Thank you so much! Kid-friendliness: The environment is very kid-friendly during brunch and throughout lunch hours.

Friendly staff and a good mix of people. Not just a college bar (at least middday/afternoon) and a diverse crowd!It felt welcoming and fun! The food was excellent, and staff was mindful that this was a business lunch, yet still managed to keep up the drinks and check on us, without being intrusive!
