Chicken Bonz - Springfield

First-time there and disappointed, we heard great things about it. The wife asked for sauces on the side. We did not realize til we got home, she'd got nothing. My wings were the mild Buffalo, and I enjoyed them. The fries were delicious and huge. Still disappointed, we ordered honey BBQ sauce and Terriaki sauce for wife's wings. Paid for it and then got nothing.

While the food is very good, Chicken Bonz is just bare bones when it comes to atmosphere. The place is very much showing its age and could sure use a facelift. The young people working here provide excellent service.Food: 5/5

Not terrible, but not great. I tried the chicken tenders and fries and my friend had the bone in wings. The tenders were fine, nothing to complain about but basic. I got the jalapeño pineapple teriyaki but it was pretty much just straight teriyaki and not even a tiny bit spicy. My friend said her wings didn't have much meat on them. Her spicy BBQ was the best sauce we tried. The fries were basic shoestring but pretty good and the fry sauce was a crowd pleaser. The small fry is a huge portion. The staff was great, helpful and friendly. I would give this place another shot since I've heard people love it, and while it was busy while we were there, it just wasn't a stand out experience for me.

Amazing chicken and fries! Plus, the salad bar is my favorite. Highly recommend if you're in Springfield. We make sure to come here every time we are here to visit.The service is great and the amount of food you get is well worth the money.And with the purchase of an adult meal, you can get a free kids meal.
