Café Cusco - Springfield

We were so very disappointed. After seeing all the good reviews which had us feeling very excited especially because my fiancee is Peruvian and we were looking forward to some nostalgia for him, it was such a letdown. Immediately, we loved the atmosphere. But when they seated us in our booth, it was filthy from the previous customers and smashed food was ruining our shoes. We let the waiter know, but he said he 'll get to it later. We asked if we could move, but he declined and said that my brother should sit in the dirtiest part and have me and my fiancee move over to the cleaner part to be together. This horrible service along with no Inca Kola available and high prices for Peruvian 'inspired ' overpriced, non-authentic dishes ruined it for us. We left and wiped our dirty shoes on the floor mat by the door on the way out. We weren 't about to sit in a dirty booth with an uncaring server and pay $70-$80 for that. Absolutely not. We 'll just enjoy authentic Peruvian cuisine when I cook for us, or when we visit his family in Miami. And pay the same prices for REAL Peruvian food, with stellar service.

So freaking good! If your gluten free this place is made for you! It has so many options as well as a big vegan menu! Everything was so delicious. We got the bean and quinoa soup, fried guacamole palta fritas, jackfruit fajitas and the sweet potato noodle stir fry and the fried guacamole was so so good! My fajitas with jackfruit had really good flavor and was pretty big!Vegetarian options: Jackfruit fajitas, and sweet potato noodle stir fry and lots more vegetarian options!Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options

Great vibe, food was not bad. Ceviche tasted too much like artificial lime juice vs fresh lime juice but still nicely done. The Chori-pan burger was excellent as well.

Yummy chicken, sauce, spinach and tomatoe dish. The torte was Amazing!!

Our server Jaqui was the best server I've ever had. The food was great too!
