Bamboo House - Springfield

Although the restaurant may not look too impressive from the outside, don't be fooled - the Asian food here is absolutely delicious! Despite having only one server, she was friendly and the food arrived quickly. The coffee and limeade were perfectly sweet, just be sure to mix them well. We started with the beef appetizer (bo nuong lui), and the flavor was fantastic when paired with the lightly pickled veggies. We also shared the pho tai gan and mi hoanh thanh, both of which came with generous servings of bean sprouts, lime, and mint. The broth for both dishes was delightful, and we enjoyed customizing the flavor of our noodles throughout the meal with the sauces provided. Personally, I found the mi hoanh thanh to be particularly tasty, especially with the wontons. The tendon in the pho was the best we've ever had, although the beef was slightly overdone and the noodles were a bit too soft. I would highly recommend the mi hoanh thanh, but if you opt for the pho, stick to just the tendon if possible.

This is my favorite place to go for delicious pho. I always have cravings for their amazing soup, which is conveniently packaged. They don't skimp on ingredients or condiments - everything is included. Another favorite of mine is the fried spring rolls, served with fresh lettuce and basil for wrapping, and a delicious dipping sauce. I've tried pho and spring rolls at many places throughout the state, but Bamboo House sets the bar high for me. It's definitely worth a visit, and I'm sure you'll be as addicted as I am.

Number 45 is fantastic! I adore this restaurant! They are very efficient as well! The ribs are outstanding! The bubblegum machine is a nice touch that I love!

Butter wings are delicious. Pho is flavorful and fresh. The Vietnamese fried spring rolls are tasty and crispy. Pepper beef is really satisfying and the portion is generous.

If you are looking for great Vietnamese food, this is the place. Small but very cozy place to dine with family and friends. It feels like a family run place. A large selection to choose from, and everything comes out hot and fresh. Nhan is like a one man show. He greets you, seats you, takes your order and serves you. A very professional and personable guy. Next time I'm in town I'm going back
