Fishy But Nice - SPRINGFIELD LAKES

Fish and chips etc are always very good. service is fast and friendly. very good for what they get. not the best, but they get great value for money.

Fantastic family offers, great specialties, we have eaten a lot of paints here since we moved to the springfield lakes and we have never been disappointed.

They have been to this place several times. Never had a problem, never was abandoned. chips were always good, and their seafood basket for one is always fantastic, only in the eye for 1 means enough chips and a piece of fish big. enough for 2. their burgers are fantastic and that's the same. I can highly recommend the tropical burger. if you like pineapple. we only live 10 minutes away, so we never had a problem with our eating yet fresh when we get it home.

We brought fish chips tonight and also we had about 3 weeks ago. I would have learned to buy my lection back, then no more from here, as the chips were, terrible, dried and tasted as if they had used old oil to cook it. the fish I had this evening was also disappointing, because it tasted really strange and dry. we have lived in this antidote, for 6 years and normally we brought our fish n chips from here. About 2 years ago the fish were fresh and crispy, and the chips were earlier crispy and tasty, it was our favorite fish n chip removal, but unfortunately this evening will be our last meal from there. I guess and also from other reviews that there are new owners so I hope they are. I'm sorry to say people, but they need a huge wake up! make them quick or lose customers.

My family and I come here almost every week either for fish, steak or country fried chicken. The chicken is better than KFC and very large pieces. There is something for everyone. I particularly love the fish and chicken. My family also love that they...sell Kina, and deep fried mars bars which if you haven't tried I suggest you do, a childhood favourite. With the steak for less the $12 you get a t- bone, chips, very nice salad, and mushroom sauce. The mushroom sauce is great too. I'm from New Zealand and very fussy when it comes to fish and chips and this place is great, good service, food and in a nice area across from the lake.
