Village Baker - Spring Lake

Wow, our friends living in Spring Lake brought us to this jewel. I had the Mediterranean chicken shell and it was excellent. The chicken alone was almost a meal. My wife had the soup and half the sandwich and said it was delicious. Extensive beer list with full bar. Also a fresh bakery. We'll be back at the next visit!

We talked to a friend here and a French press and lunch. Her reubs were delicious with homemade Corned beef and sauerkraut on her own marble rye. My friend said his burger was amazing. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast. After lunch we bought some French bread, which was also delicious. If I'm ever in the area, I'll definitely come back, maybe for a breakfast!

If I could give 6 stars, I would! We were there for breakfast. The coffee choices were fantastic and they can make just about anything. I had two latte's, both different and delicious. The quality of the food can not be beat! I am a huge tomato fan and they use heirloom tomatoes. The lunch and dinner choices look just as good. They have a full bar and a hot sauce bar where you can pick the heat.

The cake was ordered to receive the cake visually!!! It was so sweet. We ordered a funfetti cake and it tasted like a sugar cookie (not the taste we expected, but it was still quite good). We also got Macarons for the top and they were stunning and tasty.

Quiet little place from the beaten path. My first impression is a pulsating small place hidden in the plane. Walking in the restaurants begins like walking into someone's house. Welcomed by friendly staff, sitting immediately and our 10 people party was very well looked after. Very recommended.
