Great place to go in the local jump 99 area. I was not disappointed at eating, service or drinks, every time I'm here. I recommend getting ahead of peak employment if they want to sit quickly or anywhere. sitting larger parties in peak employment can cause a wait before accusations can be made, this is normal everywhere for honest wise. smaller 2 4 member parties sat almost immediately at 15:45 on Saturday. the loudness was not bad at this hour, could speak socially without loud. woodson’s has a lot of beeing on typing scan the QR code on the table for a current list . eating came hot and ordered. the buffalo pommes were spicy, but do not kill her taste buds spicy. adriana was an excellent server that was great! she was very friendly and had always ordered our water filled beer as soon as she saw how drinks were low. I am definitiw back to woodsons!

I ordered the mushroom burger cooked medium rare, topped with jalapeño cheddar bun, along with the lemon butter garlic shrimp pasta. The burger was quite impressive and sizable; I could only manage to eat half before feeling quite full. The patty was perfectly cooked, and the bun was delicious. The fries that came with the burger were some of the best I've ever had. However, the pasta didn’t taste like lemon at all; it was mostly just buttery. The shrimp were panko-crusted and tasty, especially when paired with the tomatoes in the pasta. My friends ordered the shrimp po' boy, which came with a remoulade. The remoulade was a bit on the fruity side and had a hint of horseradish, which wasn’t really to my taste. The shrimp in the po' boy were prepared differently than those in the pasta—they were fried, while the pasta shrimp were baked. Another friend tried the Texan burger, which was very bold and substantial. Lastly, another friend ordered the Cajun pasta and absolutely loved it. Overall, I enjoyed my meal, but the ambiance of the restaurant was excellent. It felt very open and spacious, and the service was great. I would definitely come back again!

Woodson is an excellent spot for dining and enjoying a drink. The food quality is impressive, surpassing the typical offerings you'd expect. The pricing, service, and overall food quality have made it a weekly favorite for us. Some of our top picks include the Austin fries, roasted mushrooms, spelt, Wels etouffee, and the hamburger. On the rare occasion when our burgers were cooked longer than we like, they promptly prepared a new one for us.

My family and I love this place! Favorite place to eat and drink on this side of town! Honestly one of my favorite places to go to in all of Houston. Amazing food, beer, and the staff is helpful and friendly.

Atmosphere is great here. Very friendly staff. Food is good, but not the best I've ever had of things. Their wings are pretty good, but not the best. The sliders are a little dry. I typically find one thing I love that is my safe thing to order, and have not been able to find that here. That's the only reason I wouldn't give this place 5 stars!
