Torchy's Tacos - Spring

This location is quite different from others. The quality of the food is inconsistent; it’s often served cold or doesn’t have enough protein, which is concerning considering each taco costs more than $5. Overall, the service is friendly, but it could be more attentive.

I was not very pleased with our experience at this restaurant. I took my pregnant wife here for the first time since we moved to the area, hoping we would have a good time, considering our positive experiences in the past. Unfortunately, this time we found a rubber band in the salsa while serving it on our food. When we brought this to the staff's attention, they only asked, "So do you want another one?" After this incident, I probably won't be coming back to this location. I am really disappointed.

I had a fantastic time trying a wide range of Mexican street-style tacos, sampling both a spicy option and a milder one—both were delightful! The chips and queso were equally tasty. The beer prices were reasonable, allowing for an affordable lunch. I will definitely be coming back!

This place is amazing! As someone from Austin, I really love Torchy's in Houston! The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is clean, and the staff is welcoming. The queso is some of the best I've ever tasted! The tacos are a decent size, although they are a bit expensive when bought individually. Still, the flavor and quality definitely make it worthwhile. The dining area is pleasant, and they have a full bar with seating. Plus, there's a charming patio for outdoor dining. I will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area for a concert.

We dined at this restaurant for the first time this Sunday for brunch, and we were pleasantly surprised by both the service and the food. The service was exceptional. We ordered the Brushfire, Baja shrimp, and chicken tacos for the kids. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, and the chicken was wonderfully seasoned. We truly appreciated the overall ambiance of the place!
