Sushi Sakai - Spokane

I love the mood here. Very quiet and clean. The dragon roll was amazing. Spicy Tuna didn't have the rivet I expected, but still quite large. The Boston role was a little clear for my taste, but not bad.

You have a rainbow of the elections! So many to choose! I strongly recommend this place. The service and food is amazing and tasteful and well presented. The Lord who served us was so sweet. I hope you come and look for this place. We definitely come back

The ambience seemed pretty good. Very warm lighting and some quiet modern Korean/Japanese music in the background. Originally ice water served with a lemon wedge and with black cotton napkins instead of paper. I tasted everything my party had, and I thought it was great. I personally had the Katsu, so I can judge the most. The Katsu sauce served with it is not really a sauce, but rather a gravy. It also had distinct tomato flavor that I thought was great. I wish they served more of this sauce on the side to dive more. At the price I wish, I had a little more Katsu and rice, because it barely filled me. The grilled Saba mackerel) and the yellow tail were all juicy and had a great smokey grilled taste. I liked the mackerel a little more. The Korean wings were also very tasty and spicy. The orange chicken, for a Chinese American dish in an Asian fusion restaurant, was pretty good. However, it had a legitimate orange taste as it actually used oranges in it what I liked, but the people only used to panda will not really care. I can say that her crunching game for all fried elements was on point, everything fried was crispy. Edit #1: 4 stars changed to 5. Went back recently and was fantastic. I really enjoy all the Bento Box combos we had for dinner. Edit #2: So I tried the katsu court again, and it seems that they have changed the sauce that they give with it to something new compared to my previous review. For me, the newer sauce was super average, nothing about sticking it to me in terms of taste.

Wow! It must be the freshest sashimi I've ever had. Fish flew from Japan to Seattle, then Spokane OMG so fresh. Super friendly staff! Chicken teriyaki with white rice was perfect for the children. My new favorite sushi place next time I'm in Spokane!

Great quality sushi. Very good service. You can't go wrong here. Really cool environment to watch the game and spend time with people. Would definitely recommend.
