Best lunch in Spokane. Great sandwiches and the owner is also great. He goes around the place and chats with the customers and makes sure they don't have a smile on their face, make sure they leave with one. 5 stars safe.

If that doesn't prove that God is true, what does. That was the most glorious ruby I've ever had. I thank the good Lord today. So sweet, so delicious. But don't think the hype can see for yourself. Smacky is on another level. Great stuff!

Amazing sandwiches. I ordered the liver sausage on a sourdough hoagie, Papa had the vegetable sandwich on whole wheat. The food is BIG and comes with sprouts and a pickle. The menu is huge, you need to try this place. Good bang for your ass.

The service was amazing and the food was phenomenal. Forgot to get sprouts they gave me a big bag for free. One of the best takes on a cheesesteak in town. The price reflects the quality of their ingredients and service. My new favorite. My one hope is that you will some day open for dinner but you have a great thing going. Thank you smacky's you made my day.

So you'll walk into Smacky's and a smell so delicious will smack you so hard you'll wonder why they don't charge for it; Test 1 passed. The owner may or may not know you, but learns you're first time customers, he'll walk out from behind the counter to talk shop and suggest sandwiches from a top notch menu like he's chatting with an old friend; Test 2 passed. The price is more than fair for the side of beef's worth of pastrami that comes on delicious jalapeno bread with a simple complimentary side of a house pickle and pretzels (you're there for the sandwich anyways); Test 3 passed. All in all the best sandwich shop I have been in a long time, bar none.
