The best local place for food Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly
I stop here for lunch when I travel to the Deer Park area. I had such an enjoyable meal of a veg burger with sweet potato fries, excellent service and awesome throwback music. And they were interested as they saw me photographing a big beautiful moth on their kitchen window! Vegetarian options: The No Moo burger is very good and crisp (not a mush patty). Ive also had the garden veg omelette which is very good too. I am always happy to find veg items on the menu.
Locals tell me where to go and dropping by Blanchard led me to Annie's. The staff is very friendly and will satisfy any and all customers! They have excellent selections and serve it up to all quickly! I happened by when Lemon Blueberry Pancakes were the special and NOBODY can eat just ONE! I popped three with my breakfast and got an order to go for a midnight snack!
I stopped in for breakfast and sat at the bar since others were waiting for tables. It took awhile to be noticed to get a cup of coffee and take my order. At least 15 minutes went by and very few orders were going out. At that point we are all told there is an hour wait for food. Only two people in kitchen with many orders. I eventually paid for coffee and left. My question...is this a normal thing and how do they even satisfy customers with this long wait. The thing that bothered me most though was no apology or appreciation for waiting as long as I did
