Migros Restaurant - Spiez

Good food, affordable prices and a helpful chef who helped us translate and even got a car for us! great service, thanks to the chef! the intention was also amazing and able was perfect.

As other contributors have said, this restaurant has one of these best views in Switzerland. It is also a great place to eat economically if your are holidaying there. For supermarket food it's head and shoulders above anything in the UK. Hot food, salads, fruit...and the cakes are always lovely too. Good choice of drinks too. I've never been disappointed with lunch here.

Invited by friends for a birthday we were surprised by the beautiful buffet .a room with panoramic views of the lake spiez . a moment of gustative pleasure with a welcome worthy of a large restaurant, of the very adventurous staff .a adviser and redo without moderation

Prices for lunch are very cheap. the selection is large and for every taste something is included. However, it is of course easy to eat, just like I cook myself, so nothing special. the restaurant is located directly at the railway station and therefore practical to be quickly used at an intermediate in spiez. grandios is the view of the thunersee.

We found Migros after asking a local resident where we could get a warm meal. The elderly lady took us by the arm and showed us to Migros. It was very busy, but the delicious aroma beckoned us towards the food. Such a varied amount of dishes, and hot plates too! It was our first experience of selecting our food and paying for it by weight. It's a great idea, my husband had a full plate of veggies and a hot meat dish, whilst I had a smaller portion. The room was large, very clean, and obviously well patronised by local tradesmen, schoolchildren, and seniors. We were happy with our meal and the price was reasonable....for Switzerland that is!
