The Galley - Spencerport

My favorite place for a Fish Fry. On nicer days, you can eat canal side, and enjoy the sites. Decor is kitchy, but fun. Pretty decent food for an inexpensive meal. Our waitress, Tammy, is attentive and very pleasant. I've never had a bad meal here. In fact, the fish fry I just had may rank in the top five of meals I've had. I just really enjoy this play.

I went to the Galley for the first time last week and thoroughly enjoyed the staff, the atmosphere, and the food. Then i visited twice more within a week !!! Every staff person has been very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The tables outdoors next to the canal offer peaceful scenery to enjoy while eating. And the food is delicious. I especially love the homemade shrimp corn bisque; thick, flavorful and awesome. I havent tried the NE clam chowder yet but looking forward to it !!!! Service was great! Liz, our server, was attentive, prompt, and very friendly. Food was great too, best french fries I've had in a very long time. The building is very unique and gives you an experience you won't find anywhere else.

I just read the local restaurant inspection report, and this restaurant has the highest number of critical violations. I won’t be returning. It's such a pity because it has a great location.

It's an excellent spot for enjoying food and drinks with family and friends.
