A&w - Spencer

I enjoy getting a root beer float and a burger at this restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Today, I visited the drive-thru and had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. The staff wasn't responsive when spoken to and was playing on their phone at the window. Honestly, it was disappointing.

The shrimp basket was excellent with a nice spicy kick in the sauce.

The people here are awesome and that makes the difference. I don't have an A&W near me and I didn't realize until we sat down that they had shrimp which my daughter is allergic to. I asked if her corn dogs were done in the same oil. I was nicely told yes and was immediately asked if I needed to order something different. They got it out to me right away. It really made my night how nice the lady was and the awesome service. Thanks Spencer A&W!

The people make the difference. Emmetsburg,Spencer,Spirit Lake. Top notch people . The food is fine Burgers could be thicker. A&W the only competition is in Out Burger.
