Venus Pie Pizzeria - Spartanburg

This is stellar place to grab lunch... Rarely can you find authentic NY style pizza in the south. We are blessed that we have Venus, they are awesome people. Family friendly atmosphere for dinner and on the weekends. Usually some great background tunes as well.... Personally I love the atmosphere, as I am not much for over the top corporate looking establishments. You know your about to get some good when you come in and the pizza oven smell hits your tingle spots. We need to get Dave Portnoy to get us a 9.2 to blow them up. But 10 outa 10 in my book.

Great place. Haven’t had a pizza I’d love In a long time and this one was really good. On the picture you can see in the bottom is bread sticks (or garlic bread) not sure what they call it, it was just as huge as pizza! The place was packed when we went there, we had to wait a little bit to get our order, but it was totally worth it. Would definitely recommend it and will come again. Needless to say that large pizzas are huge!

Very very good, not great NY style thin crust pizza. In my opinion, the crust is perfect, their meat lovers makes it a bit too thick. I 'd advise sticking with pepperoni or cheese pizza and you will have a great time. 2 slices from their 16 pizza will more then fill a big guys stomach. They also serve a giant single slice for a great price

Great place for New York style pizza. The place was jumping the night we were there, but service did not suffer. Our side of the restaurant was a tad warm as the air conditioning was on the fritz. However, this did not dampen our spirits or hurt our appetite. Our pepperoni and black olives pizza was excellent. Plan to return to try other items on the menu. One small thing, I would like to see more beer options on tap.
