The Peddler Steak House - Spartanburg

Every penny worth. great food and even better service.

This is my first time eating at the Peddler Steak house. My experience eating there was really nice . My service name is Dillian . He was very attentive to everything I needed and very friendly. He also was knowledgeable about the food they serve at this restaurant. I really enjoy it and I will be visiting it again. The food was very enjoyable.

Portions were huge, I had the prime rib. The steak was cooked perfectly but did not have a lot of flavor. The salads are always amazing. The servers didn't disappoint. It's a higher end restaurant so a bill of over $100 should be expected.

We were celebrating our Anniversary so we thought on a week night, we could get better service. We were seated promptly, the drinks were good, apps, salad and entree were all okay. What we were surprised about was the decor in the restaurant. It is pretty evident that it has been there for years and some updating is definitely needed. My girlfriend pointed out the water stains in the ceiling. We just expected a more upscale dining experience and were disappointed when we didn't get it. I don't think we'll be going back.

Paying for ambiance and alcohol selection. Food menu, at the time, was verbal, so I got on my phone to see what they had...but 2 physical menus of wine! The food was fair portions and very tasty, but very pricey. Bread was a bit tough, but the tea was good. All in all, good food, high price, good tea
