Hidalgo Mexican - Spanaway

We have been eating at Hidalgo's for years. It is the best Mexican food we've had in Spanaway and surrounding areas. In all the years we have gone, last week they messed up an order. They promptly solved the issue by giving me the correct meal for free a few days later. Their customer service and food are excellent and I recommend this restaurant to everyone. Anytime family comes into town, this is where we go for Mexican food.

I've loved this place for about 15 years! I live in salem or but had to eat here when I went through tacoma! there is a new name. el charrito. but still the same big quesadilla burrito and there verde sauce for the chips is soo good!

I absolutely love this restaurant! I'm not sure what some of the people leaving negative reviews are talking about. The salsa is flavorful but not too spicy. My fiancée and I have always received great service. The food is incredible for the price. In my opinion, you definitely get your money's worth here. In the case of Hidalgo, you actually get more than what you pay for. The waitress we usually have is a lovely person and has always been kind to us. I highly recommend trying her!

We often go there after work to unwind with drinks. The waitstaff is friendly and makes sure we have plenty of fresh chips and salsa. The margaritas are fantastic, and the food is really good too. I highly recommend the burrito fajita!

The atmosphere is quiet and welcoming, with TVs displaying sports. The service is friendly and the experience feels authentic. It's a fantastic place for families! The food is delicious, featuring a wide variety of salsa options and an extensive children's menu. The restaurant has recently changed its name to El Charrito.
