Miramare - SOVERATO

If you are a visitor that cannot speak Italian and don 't mind being ripped off because you are a tourist this is the place for you! My husband and I have been traveling Calabria for 12 days and this is the only area that gave us secondary treatment cause they knew we weren 't from here. The beach is okay but there 's way nicer with nicer people. Who wants to support any place that has no appreciation for tourists? We were very disappointed. The life guard was the 'owner ' of the beach and didn 't do one thing all day but rip off us off and had attitude to boot!! Worst spot in all of Calabria!! Not even the food was good and that 's hard to say here.

We are just finishing eating a really nice and pleasant Sunday Lunch here at Ristorante Miramare. We went for the daily menu with fish seafood salad starter, spaghetti with claims mussels and mixed fried seafood as main. Really good quality food but the best thing about the restaurant is the service, we've been served by Bruno, and honestly this has been one of the best services I've had in a long time. Bruno was really kind and polite, always with a smile and you can see he does his job with real passion. Recommended to anyone :

Breathtaking lungomare in Soverato Marina, with exceptional views of the small towns along the coast! The beach is wide and long and was not very busy in September.

This restaurant has a fantastic view of the beach. Thats the only thing good about this place. I regret taking a chance to eat here and sorry ro have invited some friends. There wad not a lot of people on this Saturday night sept 7, 2013. Perhaps around 12 people on the large terrace overlooking the beach. They sure had plenty of waiters but the service was unbearably slow. The orders got mixed up and we were not all served at the same time. This happened two times on the first dish and the second dish. Food was cold and overal quality and preparation was below standard. One of the side order dish of potatos was not prepared as described by the head waiter Giuseppe. Other waiter was rude and argued that I was wrong. The cook arrived and argued that thats how she prepares the potatoes but Guiseppe confirmed my version. Overall, lousy service, poorly trained staff, and highly overpriced in comparison to other Restaurants in the area. Will never go back again. Tourist. Rosario.

Un aperitivo davvero ottimo, ci sono stata due volte, e devo dire che sia la prima che la seconda volta abbiamo mangiato e bevuto davvero bene. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo! Il personale molto disponibile e accogliente.
