Little Notch Bakery And Cafe

Little Notch continues to be a fabulous culinary addition to Southwest Harbor. Their breads and pastries are top notch, and their sandwich menu and pizza offerings are inventive and tasty. We have used the on line ordering system quite a bit, and orders are always ready and waiting. In the summer when things are crowded, this is a super option. Another interesting choice is the refrigerated section with prepared salads and sandwiches. It is a great place for take out to go home, or to take to one of the nice tables in front, or maybe over to the little park just down the street.

The food is delicious. Perfect for lunch, and since I have a weakness for baked sweets, it had a lot of choices! I love the home made bread, too, and always stop there before I head home from my vacation and stock up on breads. Highly recommend.

This place gets very busy in the evening, and is popular for takeout. The pizza here is good. Other items are mixed. Steak sandwich says it contains peppers and onion; but there were barely any. Still, I would get it again. Salad was good.

Delicious berry pies and tarts, and we relished their Vollkornbrot rye seeded bread. Super friendly service in a charming shop.

Tried the pizza while we were at Acadia. Very good. Garlic bread was just OK. Would recommend.
