The Jac Island Grille

This restaurant was quite enjoyable. We visited with our family and found that it had options for everyone, including our two vegan guests. The Happy Hour specials at the bar are affordable and available until 6 PM. I would definitely return, as I'm curious to experience the live music in the back.

The Jac provided an incredible dining experience. My wife and I ordered the filet mignon, and it was cooked to perfection! For dessert, we tried the best key lime pie I've ever had. While it is on the pricier side, it’s definitely worth the visit, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested!

I apologize, but this is all that's left of the Key Lime cake we shared, and it was absolutely incredible! (The Jacaranda, the previous restaurant at this location, didn't have key lime cake this good.) We ordered the house salad, clam chowder, and shrimp scallop scampi. The dish was almost like a cioppino with shrimp and scallops. The broth was delicious, with a wonderful saffron flavor. I'd return in a heartbeat. Our server was also very friendly and efficient.

Great place with excellent happy hour appetizers. The decor was a fresh yet rustic, beachy vibe. The atmosphere was okay. The food was the star. We ordered Conch Fritter and Cheese Fry appetizers. Both were great. The fritters were probably the best I have ever had, perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy inside with tender conch. For dinner we had a Cilantro Lime Chicken Salad and Mandarin Rum Chicken. The salad was wonderful after a long, hot day on the beach. It had huge flavor in large portions. The Mandarin Chicken was delicious. The chicken was expertly cooked in an awesome sauce with crisp, fresh vegetables. Our server was great. The only negative was a slower service with few patrons in house.
