Amazing Food, outstanding service and can't believe we spend so much money going to fancy Japanese in Mayfair when we have a better one on our doorstep. Will definitely see us soon.

Fabulous first time experience at Yama Momo. The squid starter was sublime as was the sashimi selection. The presentation of the Panna cotta dessert was a thing of beauty. I tried a couple different cocktails and would highly recommend the little rapongi . The customer service was second to none. After a mistake was made on the bill (charged me for two rapongis I didn 't have) they removed the charge with a further £20 removed. I insisted on leaving a further tip for their outstanding customer care but they refused and said I could tip them next time, unheard of! Fabulous food, great customer care and a cosy atmosphere. Keep up the good work Yama Momo, I 'll see you guys soon.

I know this restaurant and its sister restaurant in Clapham, Tsunami well. I know the owner Ken and the standard of the food and the service have always been impeccable. I have not been to either for a while as have been out of London. However this visit was not good primarily because the staff seem both unaware of what the food is and how it is served. Some old favourites tasted the same although some had been changed to appear more english also all the food came at once and not in stages as expected and requested. Except the sushi and when we chased it were told by the manager it was late because they had a lot of take away orders. This restaurant is not by any means cheap and to be told that is insulting. I do hope Ken sorts this out as it is a real shame.

This restaurant is a lively spot with a diverse Japanese menu. We enjoyed the vibrant and creative cocktails. The tuna tataki and eggplant starters were delicious, but the mixed tempura was a bit underwhelming. The main dishes of black cod, sea bass, and salmon were all excellent quality. The desserts were just as enjoyable as the cocktails. The Picpoul de Pinet was reasonably priced. The atmosphere is inviting and guests of all ages seemed to be having a good time. As older diners, we appreciated that we could hear each other easily in the busy, narrow dining area. The service was friendly and efficient.
