Uplands Cafe - Southwark

Popped in this morning for a bit of E B. What a lovely cafe, my first visit but husband has been before Cafe is lovely clean has seating out front which is a sunny spot on nice days. Ordered Egg, beacon bubble, arrived quickly was delicious. Chocolate milkshake was delicious but a little small for £2.50 ? Would definitely return when again in area would definitely recommend.

I used to live in East Dulwich and used to use this cafe on a Saturday morning. I then moved away and occasionally travelled back at the weekends but it was never open. I thought they had closed down. Well they haven’t and the cafe is as good as you can find. Clean, super friendly and excellent food. I ordered a breakfast of fried eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, mushrooms and chips with some crusty toast and a proper mug of tea. “Man alive” it was good. I love a good fry up and have been to many of the “so called” best “caffs” in London and wherever I go I always feel short changed and think “the sausages are not as good as the ones in the Upland”

Often meet the family here at lunchtimes for a meal, fast services from friendly staff and the food is good too.

Fantastic service with the waiters being welcoming and quick, excellent food, no complaints

The atmosphere is fantastic and the pizza is delicious.
