I was taken over there by my Peruvian friend, who, since she had discovered that this place has become one. she says that eating is just like her mother, so they can be sure that it is authentic every other Saturday there is live music and dancing after 10 o'clock. everyone tries to make you welcome, so while we waited for our table in the upper floor, we had a nice chat with one of the musicians, and one of the regulars eating is incredibly fantastic. make sure they order cassava! it's one of the appetizers. we also had fried plantain, and were served free cancha and fish stock. there are three vegetarian options available under the netzen, and...read more
Amazing! I am Peruvian, and this place reminds me of the restaurants I used to go with my family when I was young! I was a couple times that far.
I went there a week before Christmas and the place showed much potential in my sight. yes! as a Peruvian man I saw this place as the one.
Out there is not much to see, but enter the place and eat, they will be thrilled as any meal I have eaten, there are beyond delicious. I have visited various paintings with family and friends and we are all the same spirit; tasty, tasteful eating and do not forget to taste delicious seco del norte beef/lamine with beef and vegetables, or the incredibly delicious picarones a little as donuts, but from pumpkin and sweet potato, and also have a pisco sour cocktail.
We were heading to the Southwark Playhouse Elephant and needed a spot to grab a bite before the show. Right across the street from the theater, we stumbled upon this fantastic family restaurant. The atmosphere was clean and bustling, with Latin American music playing on the TV and a warm, welcoming staff. We enjoyed two delicious meals paired with a bottle of Peruvian wine. Overall, it was an excellent experience.
