Przekaż informację zwrotnąI have been a patron of this restaurant for years and decided to give it another try today, only to discover that it is now under new management called ibis legacy. Unfortunately, it was the worst experience I have ever had. After waiting for an hour, my food order was finally taken, but it was incorrect - I had requested eba but received pounded yam instead. I ended up just buying the stew for £8 each, even though it was not my fault. I would recommend staying away from this establishment, as it is now under different management.
I went here with a Nigerian friend and they told me to take the pepper soup with catfish. The soup was spicy and contained three rather large pieces of bagre that were filled with bones. All this was meant to eat only with a spoon. Flavor zero apart from pepper. The main dishes of veal and spinach with ñame were slightly better and very spicy, as ordered. However, meat was chewable and gelatinous and had an unpleasant taste. My friend explained that this is how they like their meat, but Europeans may need some time to get used to it. The service was slow and needed a constant reminder. I'm definitely not in a hurry to get back.
I absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was delicious and the portions were generous. They even served food until 2am, which was incredible. The service was exceptional and the staff were very accommodating. It is clear that this restaurant is run by a wonderful Igbo family. I will definitely be returning in the future.
I have been in this restaurant many times with friends, this is our African restaurant to go to.The owner is friendly and welcoming, and very attentive. The main reason why we are going is for the food that has never failed me, they always seem to me (getting that the fish tilapia fresh with stew, and banana or rice jollof, unfortunately I can't think back on the meat dishes), but I'm pretty sure it would be just as good. Well done from Legacy.
One of the friendliest and most pleasant owners I have ever met. Highly recommended if you are ever in London.
