Ho Ho Take Away - Southwark

I ordered delivery from this restaurant and they forgot two items. The person at the front desk was rude, and I also noticed how dirty the waiting area was. The door handle was black and grimy, which made me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. The food seemed to be spoiled, the floors were dirty, the waiting area was unpleasant, and the staff was rude. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

We ordered the dinner for two. The food tasted good and looked decent. The service was courteous. However, my friend and I both feel very ill right now. We were both up all night vomiting and having diarrhea.

The food at this restaurant is truly delicious, with fresh and generous portions worth the slightly higher cost compared to similar takeout places nearby. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to find several options on the menu. The tofu dishes we ordered, including the Thai tofu and Szechuan chili tofu, were particularly impressive.

The food is good and reasonably priced, unless you order through a delivery app. It's much more cost-effective to just pick up your order.

A three-star average is a tragedy. This restaurant is one of the best places for traditional Chinese takeout in London. Period.
