Beautiful small local Indian restaurant. the staff is so friendly and eating is delicious. great value for the opposite! we have been loyal Nawaz customers for 13 years. never disappointed. special favorite: mushroom rice, mixed exotic, onion bhaji, peshwari naan.

Interestingly busyyy place ! And popular .. Much to my expectations . But then hey.. Don't judge a book by its cover . My order here poppadam with the pickles (mustttt have paneer peshawari (I would not recommend at All cafe nawaz special (interesting in itself), chicken lasooni (felt like the same gravy as cafe nawaz special , minus the lamb I still think the price and variety of dishes offered is rather economy and worth a visit experiment , cz it does seem to offer good variety . I saw most people order Prawn dishes in here , perhaps my views would be different

Legitimate contender for best Indian spot in London

High quality balti in south London. Would highly recommend the Nawaz Special which is a medium hot lamb chicken curry. Bring your own alcohol Updated 2024: we have going here for 8 years and always enjoyed incredible food. However, we ordered takeaway through Uber Eats which was incredibly disappointing. The chicken korma (not my choice) had small, cold and tough pieces of chicken that were inedible. In the past, it’s been delicious. But today, disappointed. I will probably not return.
