Bert's Fish - Southwark

As Christmas was over sick of roast turkey thought I would go local and have a nice bit of fish was so looking forward to it well to my diapontment it was the worst fish I have ever tasted will certainly not be going back in a hurry

I was pleasantly surprised to discover the best fish and chips shop I've visited in years in a seemingly unimpressive strip of shops and neighborhood. It's not surprising though, as the owner, who served us, is a delightful gentleman who clearly takes pride in his work. I will definitely be returning on Friday!

Great find just off the Old Kent Road in London. Well worth a visit if in the area for a quick snack. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this restaurant. I would visit anytime I am in the area. The takeaway is small, but the food was excellent and it offers great value for money!

Excellent quality haddock was beautifully juicy and proper, traditional chips (hard to come by these days! . Great value and friendly owner too.
