The Fifth Hants Volunteer Arms

I stopped by for a quick drink and enjoyed an ESB. They also had London Pride available. The pub has been recently renovated to a very high standard, and the choice of dark colors adds to its cozy atmosphere. There are two bars, and the ambiance is pleasant. Edward, the bartender, was always cheerful and polite. Overall, it’s one of the best pubs on Albert Road.

I had an awesome experience at this restaurant! I got to see my favorite singer perform here, which made it even better. Highly recommend checking it out!

A favourite pub for many years, but had fallen on 'difficult times ' in recent years but has now been revitalised by the young landlord his partner.

This is a proper old fashioned pub serving a good selection of beers eg HSB, London Pride etc. It also boasts Aiden, the youngest landlord in Portsmouth; who is a very warm and friendly man-perfect for the job. It has an upright piano which a couple of the locals still play and when they're not playing there's really good music in the background.
