Wok Temptation - Southport

Lunch time in Southport, looking for somewhere quick and easy, found the Wok Temptation the first shop inside a food court opposite the Southport RSL Lots of Asian students who live in the adjacent high rise. Nice bustling atmosphere with inside (students with Ipads) or outside seating. Massive photographic menu. Reasonable prices. Large servings of delicious food. Polite, efficient multi-lingual staff. Open 11am to 9pm seven days. My go-to place for lunch in Southport from now on.

The Wok Temptation is a bit of a Hole in the Wall place with not a lot of seating inside but more outside. It is in the base of the Southport Central Tower 1. We very much enjoyed the Yum Cha food and it was reasonably priced. They do not have room to come around with a trolley for you to choose from so you preorder of the menu which offers Yum Cha style and/or meals. As to an earlier comment. It is probably true that Asian people have their dishes differently to the rest of us. I have been out with Chinese folk often enough to know that most Chinese restaurants westernise the dishes for our palates but cook differently if requested by Asian patrons. Fact of life. And also those Asian clients probably eat there 4-6 times a week. Think of it as frequent diners discount. But enjoy Wok Temptation. It is really worth a visit.

This is a busy little eatery and the staff are polite and efficient. When I went there were lots of young Asian diners and i spoke to a few of them who all rated the restaurant very highly. A good place to eat if you are on a lunch break.

I love this place. As my office is nearby, this is often a lunch time option during the week & also sometimes a dinner option to takeaway & bring home. Friendly service, meals are prepared quickly and fresh, taste authentic & good for value prices!

My family eats here regularly and we pay an extra $4 for the extra meat and when we get it we are getting the same as what the Chinese customers are getting without paying the extra $4, this place is charging non Asians different to Asians and are not giving extra meat that we are paying for. This place is a con and needs to be looked at.
