Reef Seafood Sushi - Southport

Exceptional quality—absolutely no complaints! We regularly shop here for fresh seafood to prepare at home. They also have a fresh sushi bar and eatery, allowing you to enjoy your meal at its freshest. We dined in for the first time recently and shared a gold band snapper with chips ($28) along with two sushi rolls. The fish was outstanding, and the sushi rolls were quite large ($9 each); two rolls were more than enough for our shared lunch. While it's pricier than your typical fish shop, I don't mind paying a little extra for such consistently high-quality products and the friendly, knowledgeable staff. I also noticed that a friendly team member was always on hand to clear and clean tables quickly.

The staff here is fantastic, and the prices for the food are very reasonable. I'm particularly fond of the sashimi and other seafood dishes. I haven't had the chance to try the hot meals yet, but they look quite appealing for the price.

I took my seafood-loving boyfriend here for his birthday, and he absolutely loved it. He mentioned that the seafood was incredibly fresh and enjoyed everything on the platter for 1-2. The only downside for him was the uneven distribution of fresh oysters compared to the seasoned ones. Additionally, the vegetarian options were limited, especially compared to the location in Gasworks, which offered a wider variety.

I rarely rate places with 5 stars but Reef seafood and sushi was supurb!! Love their sashimi here because they are so fresh!! We got the fresh kingfish, salmon don set, chirashi set, crumbled oysters and the seafood curry. Every dish was so damn good and delicious!!

Loved the sushi so fresh, great place for a quick meal while shopping in the market place, food came out fast happy with this place will most def be coming back for a quick meal
