Giri Kana Cafe - Southport

I’ve been going here for years and enjoying it but this week I ordered a special raw, vegan rainbow cake for my daughters fourth birthday and oh my! Seeing this Cake this morning just made my day. It tasted at least as good as it looked! The staff are easy to deal with, reliable and make really great food.

My favourite vegetarian cafe on the Gold Coast. Even though if you're not vegetarian, you'll love this place, as I've taken a few friends there who are full on meat eaters and they loved it too. I normally get the 2 serves for $12 and the serves are massive and fills you up. I normally get the cannelloni, potato bake, vegetarian curry, salads, etc.. I also get the sweets like their raw desserts. I eat their apple crumble and served with cashew cream. Will always eat there

My son and I had the pleasure of dining here for the first time yesterday, and we really wish we had discovered this gem earlier, as we're always searching for great vegan options. We thoroughly enjoyed the kofta, moussaka, roasted potatoes, and polenta—each dish was generous in portion and full of flavor. I also took home some apple crumble and tiramisu, both of which were delicious (though I would suggest avoiding refined sugar in the tiramisu). The staff were incredibly friendly, too. I'm giving them 5 stars, and it would be amazing if they could eventually make the café completely cruelty-free.

The food, coffee service is outstanding. Their pancakes are the best on the Gold Coast. Even if you're not vegetarian, this place will tickle your tastebuds keep you coming back for more. Good wholesome, healthy food at reasonable prices.
