Wonderful decor very pleasant meeting and greeting the staff worked hard the coupon deal 3 courses for $27.50 was good excellent selectionaround the table comment from six guest the points 1 to 10 averaged about 7 the food was more a seafood type venuemostly frozen and sparingbeef and reef 6 tough meat chowder 8 other dishes were averaging 8 desert 7 to 9overall the night was very pleasant service 4 starsfood quality 3 starscleanliness 5value for money 4 starsresponse time 5 starswould we go there again the consensus was yes we would come again It would be better with maybe some entertainment the staff sang happy birthday and very enthusiasticallyThe Concierge or head waiter full marks waitress excellent and presented menu wellthe food quality although price was good did not meet the standard expected on the gold coast CSI and Sharks all you can eat offer better valueand the Runaway Bay football club great value for $15

They precook all their lobster, prawns and bugs and then keep them drying out till someone wants them. Bugs where the meat has dehydrated to the point of being chewy like jerky and has shrunk to nothing in the shell. The lobsters were so overcooked they were inedible. The claw meat was invisible as it had completely stuck to the shell. Fish was seriously overcooked. Smoked salmon had been sitting on the tray so long it was hard and inedible. Such a shame to have such a quantity of seafood with no one experienced enough to know how to cook it. Mornay sauce needed to be thinned out with lemon juice and a hint of mustard to make it nicer. I would rather wait 15+ minutes more and get something edible. Was really sad to see seafood treated this terribly

I live in Surfers Paradise and have often driven past this restaurant. On Sunday we decided to give the restaurant a try. It was busy and the wait staff seemed to be a bit overwhelmed. It took a while for them to take a drinks order and after ordering our meals it took longer than expected to be served.My husband enjoyed his meal ( bruschetta, lasagne and baklava) I however was very disappointed. I had the seafood chowder which lacked flavour and for main I had a scallop and mussel dish with a chermoula sauce which was a very stodgy dish and again lacked flavour. The scallops were particularly disappointing as they were the really small sort of processed scallops. I would have thought that at a seafood restaurant the dish would have included scallops with the roe on.Been there will not be going back.

This restaurant is centrally located in Southport on the Gold Coast Hwy easy to spot.Don't be daunted about parking because Australia Fair allows 3 hours free parking.The setting is sunny, clean and bright. Only comment there is if you have a sunny table by one of the windows it can get quite warm. Not sure but I imagine the blinds can be pulled down further to provide protection in the hotter months. Would have to ask. They offer 3 course meal specials at $55 and various other combinations for less.Having opted for that my self, I found I was struggling to finish. The Baby Octopus was excellent as was the Calamari. Also tried an unusual lamb entrée with an apricot based sauce, delicious. Noticed there were several huge seafood platters coming out of the kitchen, probably a bit much for us, but others looked to be enjoying every bit of it.The Lobster Mornay was a little dry, otherwise all good. Couldn't fault the service, all the staff served with courtesy and a smile.

We are regular VIP clients of this restaurant. Since our last visit the menu is unchanged, however, they have highlighted in red items that are no longer available to VIP card holders. This takes the cream off the cake. Furthermore, the quality of the food ordered was far inferior to what we have enjoyed and experienced in the past. Very disappointing and reluctant to return.
