Frying Pan - Southport

Great experience at the Frying Pan! The food was great, the view was perfect, staff was very friendly, and the service was fast! Best calamari and grilled shrimp I?ve ever had. Recommend to anyone in the area!

Food was alright. Service was great and Views were amazing! Shrimp and Corn Chowder was OK. Shrimp were very small. Fried food was descent. Bacon wrapped Scallops, Shrimp and Unicorn Fish over seasoned. Crab cakes were over done and lacking Crab. Sweet potato Biscuits were very good along with the Hush Puppies! Sides like green beans were bitter along with spinach had to much garlic. Parm Grits were strange to much Parm. Nothing on Draft. Descent cocktail menu tho.

The frying Pan is an excellent spot. Love crossing the ferry and getting out onto the little island. Again being on vacation from Arizona where you get cactus and rocks. But we don't get hurricanes and heavy weather it's just hot and dry. But it was a wonderful experience the food was excellent the Southern hospitality is great. Just being around there makes you feel like you're someplace that is back in time. Keep it small keep it local keep it mom and pop..You'll be good now you're here??

On another quick trip to Southport we found this gem. We did show without reservations and got the quick walk-in to the bar. Great service still and the food was on point. Also the view on the third level to the overlooking water was exceptional. Pricier than Provisions next door, but for the quick bar seat and good food especially the flounder and fan tail shrimp. I will take it all day.

We will 100% be back to Frying Pan! Great food, ambiance, customer service, and views! We saw a gorgeous view of the sunset and even a few dolphins swimming by while we ate! Definitely recommend!
