The Thanksgiving meal fell short of expectations, and the food was only lukewarm. It appeared more appetizing than it actually tasted. The dishes seemed to have been pre-plated earlier in the day. Overall, it was just a slight improvement over having nothing at all.

We didn’t have to wait for a table on Sunday evening. The cocktails were excellent. My daughters each ordered a soup—gumbo and bisque—and they loved them. The food my husband and I had was wonderful, too. We shared the pumpkin bread pudding and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert, and both were delicious. Our server was fantastic, handling my sassy and cheeky children with great charm.

My friend ordered the crab cakes and shrimp Alfredo, which were both delicious. You can't go wrong with the red beans and rice, and the catfish, étouffée, and gumbo are excellent choices too. They offer different menus for brunch and dinner, each featuring a variety of options. I decided to try the caramel pecan cheesecake for dessert. It was okay—it didn't impress me because I'm a baker myself—but my friend really enjoyed it. I highly recommend this place for a date night! Be sure to make a reservation online before you go.

Restaurants inside hotel chains are usually sketchy. This place is ok. The server was Michael and he was very nice. The price tag was $75 for 2 people. That seems a little pricey. There are better places in the area but it will do in a pinch.

We went in for drinks in the evening and breakfast in the morning. The service was impeccable...drinks and food delicious! The decor is truly reminiscent of New Orleans where my family roots began!
