Karabin Farms - SOUTHINGTON

The people there are very rude! We wanted to make an appointment to cut a tree on a weekday. Once the lady picked up the phone she already sounded miserable. We wanted the appointment for 4pm she said it would be getting at that time(which was understood) so I made it for 3pm. But then I changed my work schedule so me and my family can go earlier. I gave them a call to see if we could get there at 2pm but the woman on the phone said that it would be getting late at that time and it would be getting dar. We started arguing because I couldn’t understand why she thought it was getting dark at 2pm!! Then she hung up in the middle of me talking.

Nice place! Great for kids and the family. We have gone here now for a couple years for a Christmas Tree. The staff are very helpful. They have a shop with typical farm stand items, but also have food and drink during the Xmas season. They have cut trees, and cut your own, which we have done. $79 for cut your own in 2022. They have live animals as well which the kids loved.

First time coming to Karabin Farms! They had lots of pre-cut trees to pick from or you could cut your own. Very helpful staff wrapped the tree and tied it to the car. They have a cute store where you can buy baked goods, poinsettias, meat, wreaths, etc. Looking forward to coming back!!

All the poor animals look sick and depressed here. Not very well taken care of even one of their calves looked like he was dying. My kids were crying for the animals. There was also nowhere to pick apples and no hay rides. This place needs to get it together or shut down.

The animals appeared to be in need of some care and attention, but the shop itself was quite nice.
