Angelina's Mexican - Southgate

The food was very good, but our waitress Melanie was 5 stars. The tacos were small, but fresh and tasty. The salsa was wonderful, but the hot salsa was amazing. The chips were fresh and delicious.

I've been eating here for years. You even had three of our parties. And I've never left an evaluation. This is the place where you are better hungry when you order a dinner. Because Angelina feeds you like the Italian mother. During the Catered parties they sent so much food, we had to ask our guests to take food home. We come back both in the house and for food.

We weren't disappointed both times we ate here! Another authentic Mexican restaurant in the downriver area that has good food and is inexpensive. This place is in my Top 5 Mexican restaurants of all time. The waiting time was only about 15 minutes and the staff was amazing! Our food didn't take long to get out and was very delicious. Would definitely recommend everyone looking for good food in a great atmosphere.

Angelina's is a very well-rounded place. I usually go to the Angelinas in Soutgate, even though there are 2 other locations in Wyandotte and Allen Park. Their Mexican mixed drinks are quite good, including the Michelada and the their margaritas. As for the food, just about anything on the menu is pretty good, including their tacos and steak ranchero. In fact, the last time I came in here was my first time trying the steak ranchero and it was excellent. But even the small things make this place well worth the visit. For instance, the salsa that is served with the corn chips is very fresh and flavorful. If us also very clean in here. You can tell that the staff has a routine of cleaning and maintenance. Overall, this place is well worth the visit if you are looking for something a little bit more than just regular old Mexican food. Everything is fresh and flavorful, at least at this location.
