I remember coming back in the days when it was just a hole in the wall dive. Well, completely converted into a modern sports bar. Nice to see more than the ubiquitous grilled / steamed veggie sandwich for vegan options. I tried to hack tuna sandwich. It tries to be a grilled tuna with melted cheese sandwich, but it was only halfway there. The rye bread was beautiful and grilled (a bit oily, the chickpeas tuna was nicely sprinkled, but it failed with absolutely no taste and cheese shreds (Daiya? mixed together instead of melted. It tasted like chickpeas instead of tuna, the chefs do not suspect to put Seaweed powder in the mix for taste. Cam with a bag of Better Made Potato Chips (Nostalgie instead of Fritten. Bar was not so busy, but had to hunt the server for every little thing.
I ordered the take-out from here. I have the vegan queen and French fries from here. The Pommes were little fun, but the Quesadilla was quite delicious. I'd eat there again.

I remember visiting this place when it used to be a tiny dive bar. It's now been completely transformed into a modern sports bar, which is a great change. I was pleased to see a wider range of vegan options beyond the typical grilled or steamed veggie sandwich. I decided to try the chickpea tuna sandwich. While it aimed to be a grilled tuna sandwich with melted cheese, it fell a bit short. The rye bread was nicely grilled, though a bit greasy, and the chickpea tuna was well mashed. Unfortunately, it lacked flavor entirely, and the cheese shreds (possibly Daiya) were mixed in rather than melted on top. Instead of tasting like tuna, it simply tasted like chickpeas, which suggests the chefs might not realize that adding seaweed powder could enhance the flavor. The sandwich was served with a bag of Better Made potato chips, which felt nostalgic, but I would have preferred fries. The bar wasn’t busy, yet I found myself having to track down the server for every little request.
